Under Teddy's Sweater

Under Teddy's sweater,
Under Teddy's vest,
There's a little button
Dying to be pressed.

Lift up Teddy's sweater,
Take a little peek,
Press the little button,
Make him squeak, squeak, squeak.

Pickles in the pickle pot

Pickles in the pickle pot,
Cookies in the tin,
Tickles on the tummy
And underneath the chin.

Pat Your Head

Pat Your Head
And rub your tummy
Touch your toes -
And hug your mummy!

Tickle My Nose

Tickle my nose and make me sneeze,
Roll me in snow and let me freeze,
Send me away across the seas -
But, whatever you do, dont squeeze my knees!

Yum, Yum, Yum

Five little birds went, "Cheep, cheep, cheep."
"Shh," said the mummy bird. "Go to sleep."
Down flew Daddy with a nice fat crumb,
And all the little birds went, "Yum, yum, yum."

Here's A Little Mouse Hole

Here's a little mouse hole,
Mousy's peeping out.
She looks to the left,
She looks to the right -
Is anyone about?

She tiptoes to the pantry,
She nibbles at the cheese,
She nibbles at the flour bag,
She gives a great big sneeze.
ACHOO!

Here lies a kitty cat
Dozing in the sun.
Look, he's pricked his ears up!
Run, mouse, run!

Back into the mouse hole,
Safe as safe can be,
Naughty little mouse says,
"YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!"

Daisy Daisy

Daisy, Daisy! Give me your answer! Do!
I'm half crazy all for the love of you.
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage.
But you'll look sweet,
Upon the seat,
Of a bicycle made for two.

Henry, Henry! This is my answer true:
I'm not crazy over the likes of you.
If you cannot afford a carriage
Forget about the marriage:
I won’t be jammed,
I won’t be crammed
On a bicycle built for two!

Daisy Bell (A Bicycle Built for Two)
by Harry Dacre, 1892

There is a flower
Within my heart,
Daisy, Daisy!
Planted one day
By a glancing dart,
Planted by Daisy Bell!
Whether she loves me
Or loves me not,
Sometimes it's hard to tell;
Yet I am longing to share the lot -
Of beautiful Daisy Bell!

Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle made for two.

We will go 'tandem'
As man and wife,
Daisy, Daisy!
'Peddling' away
Down the road of life,
I and my Daisy Bell!
When the road's dark
We can both despise
P'licemen and 'lamps' as well;
There are 'bright lights’
In the dazzling eyes
Of beautiful Daisy Bell!

Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle made for two.

I will stand by you
In 'wheel' or woe,
Daisy, Daisy!
You'll be the bell(e)
Which I'll ring you know!
Sweet little Daisy Bell!
You'll take the 'lead'
In each 'trip' we take,
Then if I don't do well,
I will permit you to
Use the brake,
My beautiful Daisy Bell!

Set a man to watch all nigh,
Watch all night, watch all night,
Set a man to watch all night,
My fair Lady.

Suppose the man should fall asleep,
Fall asleep, fall asleep,
Suppose the man should fall asleep?
My fair Lady.

Give him a pipe to smoke all night,
My fair Lady.

I'm A Little Teapot

http://i016.radikal.ru/0807/9e/fa0745b80576.gif

I'm a little teapot
Short and stout
Here is my handle
Here is my spout

When I see the teacups
Hear me shout:
Tip me up
and pour me out!

или

When I get all steamed up
Hear me shout:
Tip me over
and pour me out!

Humpty dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the king's horses,
And all the king's men,
Couldn't put Humpty together again

Hympty Dumpty and his brother
Were as like as one another,
Couldn't tell one from t'other
Humpty Dumpty and his brother.

Humpty will goin the egg cup soon;
And all the paste and all the glue

Baa, Baa, Black Sheep

http://s39.radikal.ru/i084/0809/59/fc9cf62d825f.jpg
"Чёрный барашек" в иллюстрациях William Wallace Denslow 1901 года

Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full.
One for my master,
One for my dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

Это событие и легло в основу песенки: две трети от цены на шерсть шли в казну короля (the master), треть - на нужды монастырей (the dame), и ничего - пастухам (the little boy).

Two for the master,
one for the dame,
but none for the little boy
who lives down the lane.

Hush Little Baby

Lullaby

http://s52.radikal.ru/i135/0812/82/e49474f05420.jpg

Hush, little baby, don't say a word.

Pama's gonna buy you a mockingbird
If that mockingbird won't sing,
Pama's gonna buy you a diamond ring

If that diamond ring turns brass,
Pama's gonna buy you a looking glass

If that looking glass gets broke,
Pama's gonna buy you a billy goat

If that billy goat won't pull,
Pama's gonna buy you a cart and bull

If that cart and bull turn over,
Pama's going to buy you a dog named Rover.

If that dog named Rover won't bark,
Pama's going to buy you a horse and cart.

If that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town.

Mary Had a Little Lamb

Traditional/
Written By: Unknown/

Song/Песня

Mary had a little lamb,
Little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow.

Everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
Everywhere that Mary went
The lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day,
School one day, school one day,
It followed her to school one day
Which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
Laugh and play, laugh and play,
It made the children laugh and play
To see a lamb at school.

And so the teacher turned it out,
Turned it out, turned it out,
And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near.

And waited patiently about,
Patiently about, patiently about,
And waited patiently about
Till Mary did appear.

"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
Love Mary so? Love Mary so?
"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
The eager children cry.

"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,
The lamb, you know,  the lamb, you know,"
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know", -
The teacher did reply.
